About Dr Christopher Wellwood, NP-C, MSN, DC, MS
Dr Christopher Wellwood is a dual Board Certified Chiropractic Physician and Family Nurse Practitioner specializing in physical medicine and regenerative injections. His Doctorate in Chiropractic is from the “Harvard” of evidence-based Chiropractic Universities, the “University of Western States” while his Master of Science in Nursing, Family Nurse Practitioner, was granted from Purdue University.
Dr. Wellwood has a wealth of knowledge and experience in healthcare which make him not your “average” chiropractor.
Dr Christopher Wellwood’s training includes:

- Advanced Clinical Diagnosis, Pain Management, and Neurophysiology, graduated Cum Laude from the National University of Health Sciences
- Proliferative Therapies including Prolotherapy, Stem Cell Injections, Platelet Rich Plasma using Ultrasound, under the tutelage of Joel Baugartner, MD at Rejuv Medical

The knowledge Dr Christopher Wellwood has garnered has allowed him to become a published author in scientific journals, which include his work on the treatment of adrenal and thyroid diseases. His article is indexed within the Library of Medicine, and can be found here.
During his graduate studies, he had the unique opportunity of being a Clinical Research Specialist at the world-renowned Center for Health Research, where he worked gathering information for the “Premier Blood Pressure Study”, which showed a correlation between diet, exercise, and reduction of blood pressure.
Due to time restrictions, Dr. Wellwood focuses his patient management on physical medicine and regenerative therapies. These include medication management as well as conservative, non-surgical approaches to functional restoration. A firm believer that the body has the ability to heal itself when given the right opportunities, he provides a foundational approach to health and healing.

Stacey is a long-time resident and active member of the Medical Lake community.
As one of the very few PT’s in the Spokane area who specializes in Pelvic Floor Physical Therapy, we are truly blessed to have her as part of the Natural Health Center team.
Stacey is passionate about women’s health but also has years of experience in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy.
As our Primary Physical Therapist, she directs the rehabilitation department of the Natural Health Center, providing intake exams and re-exams while meeting with our other providers to coordinate patient care.

Alvin is a unique individual with extensive education in physical therapy and personal training who is passionate about health and healing through movement therapies and rehabilitation.
Under the direction of our Physical Therapist, he specializes in soft tissue treatments, the application of electrical/sound/heat/cold therapies, laser therapy, KT taping and splinting, vestibular therapies, and joint mobilizations.
As an avid golfer and athlete, he has a passion for sports injuries and rehabilitation to get you on the course as quickly as possible.

Dr. Ben Hubbard, DO, is a Board Certified Family Physician who has spent his career in the Spokane area. As a former physician at Rockwood clinics, he joined the Natural Health Center in order to provide a more holistic approach.
His joy in practice is finding out “what other providers missed” while engaging in one-on-one conversations with his patients.
Dr. Hubbard is providing family medical care, injection treatments, minor surgical treatments, and osteopathic manipulations.

Dr. Carlton specializes in soft tissue injuries and Chiropractic Adjustments to treat conditions of the spine and extremities (arms, legs, etc.). As an athletic trainer, she has a special interest in sports and injury prevention.
She has extensive knowledge in alternative treatments such as hyperbaric chamber therapy, cryotherapy, and home exercise therapies.
She is currently undergoing training in the clinical application of Functional Neurology under the tutelage of Dr. Wellwood.
