About Dr. Candie Wellwood
Dr. Candie Wellwood is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She is also a retired USAF Staff Sergeant, and she leads Essential Psychiatry — our psychiatric practice, at the same address. She treats depression, PTSD, anxiety and ADHD, with particular focus on veterans and first responders, and she is a VA preferred provider.
For patients here, that means the mental health side of a pain condition can be treated without a referral out, a new intake, or a second drive across town.
